Hello from Coach Chavez
I coach because I have passion for my work. I value being able to mold young individuals to communicate, to be responsible and to hold themselves accountable. I believe in nurturing athletes to learn and develop both on and off the court by providing a learning environment that challenges the athlete while also providing encouragement and support. Above all, I am a teacher first just as my athletes are students first, meaning I place a high requirement on grades and attendance. 22-23 Captain: DeAngela McClure Hello my name is De’Angela McClure and I chose to play volleyball because it is an excellent and fun sport to play. I feel it gives me the power to be someone. The reason I wanted to become captain was to show team work and leadership. The team and the player’s need someone to rely on to help and show leadership and skills, and I wanted to set an example to every girl that walks on that court and wants to play volleyball. My plans for when I graduate high school is to start planning my future meaning getting ready for colleges , visiting my colleges , working, finding jobs that major in my career. |
